Clifden Gate Truro

This development comprised the centre section of a terrace of grand houses built in 1856 by local Truro builder Charles Farley. Although the terrace of houses was listed, unfortunately the centre section became derelict during the 1990s and was sadly destroyed by fire in 1997, leading to demolition.

Rosemullion Homes took an option to purchase the site and after a period of careful negotiation between the company, its architects and conservation officers from Carrick District Council, obtained consent by delegated powers to recreate the façade of the historic building and behind it build nine new spacious apartments.

Rosemullion Homes continued in close liaison with the officers of the local authority to ensure their entire satisfaction as the scheme progressed and on its completion in mid 2002, the show apartment was officially opened by the Mayor of Truro.
