UK Housebuilder of the Year now joins top one per cent of Investors in People organisations

An award-winning Cornish housebuilder has gained further recognition after being place in the top one per cent of Investors in People organisations in the country.

Truro-based Rosemullion Homes has retained its Investor in People (IIP) status, whilst gaining the additional Bronze award, for its commitment to its staff

In order to achieve Bronze status Rosemullion achieved a minimum of 26 requirements over and above the standard marque.

“This is a fantastic achievement for us as a company and one that we’re all really proud of,” said Rosemullion’s managing director, Roger Carson.

“Gaining the Investors in People accolade is a challenge and one that involves the whole team, but it is a worthwhile challenge as it really focuses our minds on where the business is going and how the whole team can be engaged in that process.

“The additional Bronze award is great recognition for the hard work that all the Rosemullion team – whether on site or in the office – have put in.”

The certificate was presented to Roger at the company’s award-winning Belvedere development in Truro.

Making the presentation was Sharon Storr, the IIP consultant who carried out Rosemullion’s assessment.

“Despite the rain I think it was fitting that Sharon presented our award at Belvedere,” said Roger.

“We’re proud that Belvedere won Gold in the Best Development category at the What House? Awards and I think it ties in nicely with our IIP accreditation.”
