Rosemullion Homes presented a scale model of its Belvedere site, which won Gold in the Best Development category in the What House? awards in 2008, to Penair School.

The model was used as part of the marketing and promotion of the site, which neighbours the school, to buyers.

Belvedere also gained the Silver award for Best Exterior Design, whilst Rosemullion were named the UK Housebuilder of the Year in the same awards.

“When the site was nearly finished we had a group of pupils from Penair visit to learn about housebuilding and construction,” said Rosemullion’s managing director, Roger Carson.

“It was a really worthwhile trip and the pupils seemed to take a real interest in the whole development process.

“When one of the pupils saw the scale model in Belvedere’s show home they asked if they could have it!

“So we kept our promise, but decided to present it to the school to be put on display where we hope it will inspire other students to find out more about a career in construction and housebuilding.”

Roger presented the model to a group of students and the Penair’s technology teacher, Martin Erents, who had led the original school trip to Belvedere in 2008.

“We’re really pleased that Roger and the Rosemullion team decided to donate the model to the school,” said Martin.

“The pupils who visited the site got so much from it and its great that we have been able to continue the link with them.”
