Housebuilders praised for demonstrating elements of excellent practice
A Truro-based firm of housebuilders is celebrating after being praised in a report for demonstrating elements of excellent practice.

The comments came from Rosemullion Homes’ Investors in People (IIP) accreditation document.
The company was successfully reaccredited with the IIP marque three years after first gaining the award.
“The whole team are extremely pleased by the really positive feedback we achieved during our re-accreditation,” said Rosemullion’s managing director, Roger Carson.
“I think the one comment that stood out for me was the author’s question ‘would I like to work for this organisation?’ and their answer was a definite “yes”.
“The author also particularly liked our standards of behaviour, such as setting the objective to answer the phone with a smile.”
David Peacock, Rosemullion’s financial director, said he was pleased to read that in many cases the company exceeded the requirements of the IIP standard.
“The process was extremely thorough and they spent a great deal of time with the staff finding out what they think and feel about the working environment, their jobs and their level of training.
“Training is something we take very seriously here and we’re keen for all members of our team to develop personally, as well as within their role at Rosemullion.”
The company was also singled out for giving all their staff an extra day’s holiday for their birthday.
