Cornish Housebuilder Moves Up

A Truro housebuilder is moving up in the world after being given the go ahead to expand its office premises.

Rosemullion Homes, which is based in Lemon Street, has been granted permission to convert the flat above its premises into office space.

The company decided on the move after adding five new members of staff to its team since April.

“It’s been a busy time for us in terms of staff expansion,” said Rosemullion’s managing director, Roger Carson.

“We have been thinking about how to deal with the increased numbers and there was an option we may have had to move.

“However, we decided to find out about the possibility of expanding upwards and converting the flat above the office.

“Thankfully Carrick gave its consent.”

Once completed the new offices will be used by the company’s construction team of Ray Trebilcock, Craig Thomson, John Roskruge, Sarah Furniss, and Paul Riley.

“It will be good for us to have the whole construction team in one office,” said construction director, Ray Trebilcock.

“At the moment we are building around 20 high quality homes per year, but this move will allow us to handle between 30 to 40 houses per year, many of which will be affordable.

“This is great news, especially as housing supply and affordable homes is high on the agenda.”
