Promotion for planning expert

A land buyer working for a Truro firm of housebuilders had double reason to celebrate this New Year after gaining promotion less than 12 months after joining the company.

Caroline Wheeleker, who works for Rosemullion Homes, has been promoted from her role of planner and land buyer to planning manager as of 1 January.

Caroline, who only joined Rosemullion in May last year, previously worked as business manager of commercial activities on the Tregothnan Estate.

“We’re delighted with the impact that Caroline has made since she joined us last year,” said Rosemullion’s managing director, Roger Carson.

“She has been an asset to the team and as you would imagine her knowledge of planning has been exercised a great deal.

“We felt that a good way for us to recognise her contribution was to promote her to the newly created role.”

Following university, Caroline worked in London for commercial property consultants Drivers Jonas during which time she was elected a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

She and her husband moved from London to Cornwall in 2004.
