Restored and converted 2002/2003

‘A sensual and simple renovation has been created from a derelict surplus agricultural building, the finished work is a joy and Rosemullion has created a little gem.’
Judges report What House? Awards 2003.

The setting of this unique property is spectacular, enjoying stunning views over the Camel Estuary. Originally a dilapidated barn, it is approached by a long driveway over farmland. Rosemullion Homes crafted a small exquisite new home from the ruins restoring the original stone exterior, building new walls internally and re-roofing with reclaimed slate. The open-plan ground floor is connected by a dramatic stainless steel spiral staircase to the galleried landing.
