15 unique new homes, most with wonderful sea views, to be built in a classic Cornish vernacular style.

The site for Trinity Watch occupies a wonderful elevated position in the sought-after district of upper St Ives enjoying far-reaching views over St Ives Bay. The name for the development has been chosen to celebrate the trinity of views that should be possible from the upper storeys of many new homes here – St Nicholas chapel on ‘The Island’, the lighthouse on Smeaton’s Pier in the harbour and – in the distance – Godrevy Island and lighthouse. The name could also reflect the trinity of sea, sand and sky that embodies the spirit of St Ives.

Residents of most houses at Trinity Watch will have the good fortune to be able to gaze at the panoramic sea views available from much of the site and watch distant ships, fishing boats and pleasure craft bringing movement, interest and additional colour to the scene. Balconies to maximise enjoyment of views have been provided wherever possible.

Rosemullion Homes commissioned award-winning architects Batterton Tyack Associates to create the housing design for Trinity Watch, the two companies having previously collaborated on the successful ‘Belvedere’ development at Truro. Much time was spent studying and analysing the design and architecture of older houses in St Ives before commencing the creation of Trinity Watch, to ensure that the development reflects the atmosphere and character of this very special port and town. Taking advantage of the spectacular north-easterly views and the gently sloping site, the design features a variety of 15 two, three and four bedroom homes (four of them provided as affordable homes in conjunction with Devon & Cornwall Housing Association) in a carefully selected palette of materials including local stone, colour-washed render and natural slate.

Three homes are currently available for sale with completions late 2008/early 2009 and prices from £550,000 to £600,000. A three bedroom home has also been released for sale with sea views from all bedrooms at £395,000 freehold. To register interest or make an appointment to view the development please contact our selling agents Harding Laity of St Ives 01736 794931 or Lillicrap Chilcott of Truro 01872 273473
